NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Hornets reserve guard Devin Brown has exercised a player's option in his contract to return to New Orleans for next season.
The Hornets announced Brown's decision on Thursday but did not release financial terms of the contract, citing team policy.The 6-foot-5, 210-pound veteran averaged 5.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 13.8 minutes for the Hornets last season after signing as a free agent in the summer of 2008.
Brown, who also has played with Cleveland and San Antonio, has averaged 7.1 points, 2.8 rebound and 1.5 assists in his seven-year career.
