LAFAYETTE - The New Orleans Hornets are inviting the public to attend a Saturday practice and scrimmage in Lafayette. Tickets are available beginning at 10 a.m. today at the Cajundome box office. The event is free, but only about 800 tickets will be available because of space constraints.
Tickets are limited to four per person.
The practice and scrimmage are scheduled to run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Earl K. Long Gym at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
The Hornets are holding training camp through Sunday at ULL's Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility.
Only the Saturday practice is open to the public.
The team is scheduled to make a public appearance on Friday at Downtown Alive!, a weekly music performance in downtown Lafayette.
