
--C Tyson Chandler rejoined the team Friday night after missing one game to stay in Los Angeles with his wife, Kimberly, and newborn son, Tyson. Chandler had five points and six rebounds before fouling out with 2:09 remaining.
--C Hilton Armstrong reminded coach Byron Scott before Armstrong filled in for Chandler against the Nuggets on Thursday that he was 2-0 as a starter. The Hornets had defeated the Suns and Cavaliers earlier in the season when Armstrong started as Chandler was sidelined by a sprained right ankle. Armstrong kept his streak intact when the Hornets beat the Nuggets. --The Hornets dropped to 3-2 in the second games of back-to-back sets of games.
