New Orleans Hornets Notes, Quotes 2009-12-05--The Hornets have won their last five home games and are 7-2 at home this season.

--G Bobby Brown, who played 21 games and averaged 5.5 points for the Timberwolves last season, did not get into the game.

--Friday's game started a stretch of four consecutive games against teams with losing records. The Hornets play host to the Kings on Tuesday, visit the Timberwolves on Wednesday, and play host to the Knicks on Dec. 11.

--The Hornets improved their three-point shooting, making 38 percent (8-of-21) after making just 23.4 percent (15-of-64) in their previous three games.

--F David West's streak of 25 consecutive free throws made ended when he missed in his first attempt in the first quarter Friday night.

--The Hornets had their worst free-throw shooting night of the season, making just 57.1 percent (12-of-21), which was worse than the 59.1 percent (13-of-22) they shot in the season opener at San Antonio.
