New Orleans Hornets Notes, Quotes 2009-03-02
--The Hornets beat the Nets Sunday despite being shut out on fast-break points. The Nets had 16 fast-break points.

--The Hornets, who were a combined 4-for-35 on three-pointers in their previous two games, made five in the first half, but struggled late. They finished 8-for-28 on three-pointers.

--Forward David West scored the Hornets' first 14 points of the fourth quarter. None of his teammates scored until guard Rasual Butler made a three-pointer with 1:17 remaining.

--The Hornets made their last 13 free throws to finish 27-for-32 at the line.

--The Hornets swept the season series from the Nets, 2-0. They also finished 2-0 against the Pistons, Pacers, and Raptors. They split two games each against the Magic, Cavaliers, and Bobcats. They split four games with the Trail Blazers, lost three of four to the Lakers and lost both games against the Celtics.
