
--The Hornets matched their fourth-lowest point total of the season for the second time on the road trip. They scored 79 in their other loss -- against the Hawks, who also held them to 79 in New Orleans. The Hornets scored 78 against the Cavaliers, 77 against the Celtics, and 68 against the Magic.
--The Hornets missed all 11 of their 3-pointers and got outscored in that area by 30 points as the Bulls made 10 of 25. --As a team, the Hornets had just 10 assists, one fewer than point guard Chris Paul's league-leading average.
--Despite being beaten handily, the Hornets won the rebounding battle for the 10th time in 11 games, outrebounding the Bulls, 43-39.
--The Bulls became the third Eastern Conference team to sweep the season series from the Hornets, joining the Celtics and the Hawks. The Hornets have swept seven Eastern Conference opponents -- the Bucks, the Wizards, the 76ers, the Nets, the Pistons, the Pacers and the Raptors. The Hornets split the season series with three Eastern teams -- the Magic, the Cavaliers and the Bobcats. In the West, they lost three of four to the Lakers, split four against the Trail Blazers, and swept four against the Thunder.
