ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Paul, Guard Rasual Butler, Small forward Julian Wright, Power forward David West, Center Hilton Armstrong. Bench -- Forward James Posey, Forward Sean Marks, Guard Morris Peterson, Point guard Antonio Daniels, Forward Ryan Bowen.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Chris Paul had a team-high 19 points and a game-high 13 assists, one fewer than the Nuggets' team total.

--F David West made just 6-of-19 shots in scoring 18 points, and he grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

--C Hilton Armstrong followed his first career double-double by scoring in double-figures again with 10 points (making 5-of-7 shots), though he had just four rebounds in 24-plus minutes.

--F James Posey had one of his worst games of the season, missing all four of his shots, scoring five points on free throws, grabbing one rebound in 30-plus minutes, and committing three turnovers.

--G Rasual Butler had 10 points, scoring in double-figures for the 14th consecutive game despite being limited to 30 minutes because of foul trouble.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Peja Stojakovic, who has missed the last 11 games because of back spasms, and C Tyson Chandler, who has missed the last four games because of a sore left ankle, are day-to-day.

--C Hilton Armstrong (five stitches to repair a cut ring finger on his right hand) and F Ryan Bowen (sprained left shoulder) both played Wednesday after being injured in the previous game Sunday.
